Angelica is a complex commercial litigator based in Buchanan’s Miami office. Licensed to practice law in multiple jurisdictions, Angelica represents clients in high-stakes business litigation, corporate and transactional aviation matters, complex fraud, product liability, professional liability, and legal malpractice matters at the state and federal levels.
Angelica has experience in both the private and government sectors, acting as counsel for pre-suit negotiations through the appellate phase. As a litigator, the focus of her private practice has spanned a full range of domestic and international matters, representing clients in sophisticated commercial business and aviation litigation lawsuits. As aviation counsel, Angelica also provides services including aircraft certification, purchase, and sale transactions.
Prior to joining Buchanan, Angelica worked for two prominent law firms in Europe, where she gained experience in cross-border business disputes. Additionally, she served in key government and enforcement roles, working as an Assistant District Attorney with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, as well as the World Bank’s Integrity Vice Presidency, and the New York State Office of the Attorney General’s Organized Crime Task Force, where she developed extensive experience in investigations, regulatory compliance, and high-stakes enforcement actions.

Outside the Office
Angelica is originally from New York. Outside of the office, Angelica enjoys playing tennis, traveling to experience different cultures, and spending time with family and friends. An aviation enthusiast, Angelica enjoys flying helicopters and is pursuing a private pilot license.

- Secured dismissal of all claims against an aviation charter company before the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Judicial Department.
- Represented fixed base operators and airport tenants in federal antitrust litigation challenging anticompetitive behavior and monopolistic conspiracy under the Sherman Act in the United States District Court.
