Allison L. Evans

Allison L. Evans serves as Director in the Practice Administration department of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, where she spearheads legal operations for the Intellectual Property, FDA & Biotechnology and Litigation sections. 

Allison is a strategic leader dedicated to improving the overall performance of her sections, driving both financial results and operational efficiency. Her expertise includes streamlining workflows, managing capacity planning, attorney compensation and conducting associate performance evaluations. She plays a key role in developing practice-specific growth plans, leading lateral hiring efforts, and regularly collaborates with Business Development, Marketing, Pricing, Human Resources, Finance and IT to accomplish specific goals. 

Prior to her role with Practice Administration, Allison served in the firm’s Business Development department for nearly eight years, where she worked with Intellectual Property, FDA and was the lead Business Development Manager for the firm’s Life Sciences Industry team. 

She also serves as Vice Chair of Buchanan’s PRIDE Affinity Group (Promoting Respect, Inclusion and Diversity for all Employees), which is the firm’s affinity group for employees who identify as LGBTQ and allies. She is an alumna of Leadership Pittsburgh’s Leadership Development Program’s XXXI Cohort, where she collaborated with rising leaders in the greater Pittsburgh region, focusing on professional development and community leadership. 

Allison is a Pittsburgh transplant originally from Ohio. She enjoys golf (most of the time, depending on how the round is going), theatre, trying new restaurants, boxing, walking her two Frenchton bulldogs, traveling with her fiancé and spending time with friends and family. People are often surprised at her affinity for cigars and tequila, but to her, there is no better combination, especially with fresh chips and salsa. She is an avid Cleveland sports fan, which demonstrates her deep loyalty and character during difficult times/decades.
