Alexandria, VA, January 28, 2010 — Holly M. Ford, counsel in the Intellectual Property Section of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Alexandria office, recently organized an event that took place Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at the Trademark Bar, Westin Hotel, in Alexandria. As co-chair of the Trademark Committee for the Patent, Trademark & Copyright Section of the Bar Association of D.C., Ford lined up a well-received presentation on streamlining inter partes matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. The main speaker was the Acting Chief Administrative Judge Gerard Rogers of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board  Judge Peter Cataldo also attended at the event. The presentation was followed by a happy hour reception and attended by several D.C. area trademark and patent practitioners.

About Ford

Ford focuses her practice on Trademark prosecution , as well as Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and Federal Court litigation. She has counseled clients on many aspects of U.S. and foreign trademark infringement matters, and has handled trademark-related transactional matters such as internet and domain name disputes, counterfeit matters, and worldwide license and assignment agreements. She is currently co-chair of the Trademark Committee of the Bar Association of D.C. as well a member of  the Trademark Reporter Committee for the International Trademark Association.
