How Adam Helps Clients
Adam is an associate in the firm’s FDA/Biotechnology group. Adam’s practice primarily focuses on representing pharmacies in challenging third party payor disputes, audit findings, network terminations, or other adversarial actions, as well as defending pharmacies against board of pharmacy investigations and complaints. In addition to his work representing pharmacies, Adam also works with various industry stakeholders including drug manufacturers, PBMs, and prescription discount cards by advising on regulatory compliance, negotiating and drafting underlying agreements, and resolving contract related disputes.
As a Certified Pharmacy Benefit Specialist, Adam utilizes his expertise to assist self-funded and fully-insured prescription benefit plans in pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) and ERISA related issues. Adam’s work with prescription benefit plans consists of advising plan sponsors on their compliance with their fiduciary duties, analyzing existing PBM service agreements, and negotiating future service agreements with the goal of promoting transparency into PBM sources of revenue. Adam has also represented prescription benefit plans pursuing recovery actions where PBMs have discretely retained excessive portions of drug manufacturer rebates and claims reimbursement spread.

He prides himself on making his clients feel comfortable in what are often stressful situations and distilling complex legal issues into easy to understand concepts.
Outside the Office
Adam is an avid fan of sports – specifically football and baseball. He enjoys snowboarding in the winter and golfing during the warmer seasons. In his free time, Adam spends time walking his rescue dog Finn around downtown Morristown with his wife and spending time with his new niece and goddaughter, Naomi.
