Former colleagues and friends –

I hope that the first few weeks of Spring are treating you well and that your year is off to a great start. For all of us here at Buchanan, we have been hard at work. The past few months have flown by as we continue to integrate our new colleagues from RatnerPrestia, host thoughtful programs and CLEs and deliver outstanding results for our clients. I’m excited to share that, since our last update, the firm has received a number of substantial recognitions, including being named a Diversity Initiative Finalist by The Legal Intelligencer and a ‘Leading Edge’ Law Firm by BTI Consulting Group – two honors that we are especially proud of given our continued commitment to both D&I and innovation.

For me personally, the past few months have been exceptionally busy as I work closely with Jim Newell on our CEO transition, effective May 2024. Jim Newell will be an outstanding new leader and I’m excited to see the great things in store for Buchanan as we move ahead. It has been a true privilege to lead our firm for the past eight years and I look forward to continuing to be a part of the firm’s ongoing growth and success in the years to come. To all of our alumni who have contributed to the firm’s success over the years, I thank you for your support and we are grateful for your partnership.   

There are lots of excellent upcoming Buchanan events. I hope to see and connect with each of you in the near future.
