Recently interviewed by Prime Magazine, Lawrence M. Ploucha told the publication that he advises clients to not only prepare a will, but to prepare a comprehensive estate plan as well.

"Everyone with assets and family needs an estate plan," he told Prime. "A typical estate plan includes a will, trusts, a living will and a durable power of attorney."

As for how often the plan should be reviewed – Ploucha suggests every five years, or whenever there is a major life event such as marriage, divorce, death or birth.
