Legal Search Agency Guidelines
Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC (the “firm” or “Buchanan”) does not accept unsolicited resumes from legal search agencies and headhunters. The firm considers any resume or biography received without the prior approval by the firm’s Director of Recruiting to be unsolicited and gratuitous. Buchanan will not pay a fee to an agency that does not follow these guidelines. Please do not write, call or email any attorney at Buchanan. A candidate is not considered received by the firm until received by the Recruiting department. If you would like to present an opportunity to the firm, please send an email to the appropriate contact with a description of the candidate’s background and reason for leaving their current position without identifying the candidate by name. The Director of Recruiting & Professional Development will contact you to let you know if the firm is interested or if additional information is needed to determine interest. Once the firm has sufficient information, the Director of Recruiting will provide approval to identify the opportunity. Thank you in advance for respecting the firm’s legal recruiting process.
