In 2008, the world was shocked by the revelation of Bernie Madoff's massive Ponzi scheme. Now, 15 years later, Buchanan and FTI Consulting are joining forces to present “15 Years Beyond Madoff: A Forward-Looking Forum on the Financial Fraud Landscape.” This thought-provoking series will explore the enduring legacy of Madoff's scheme and its profound implications on today's financial landscape. Through expert discussions and engaging roundtable conversations, we will delve deep into the world of financial fraud, its intersection with regulation and the law, and its relevance in the era of cryptocurrency. Each event in this series stands on its own and will focus on a different aspect of the Ponzi scheme and its subsequent consequences as well as relevant industry trends.

During the first event held in Buchanan’s Pittsburgh office, Mark Kornfeld and Stan Parker, shareholders in the firm's Litigation section will sit down with FTI's Brett Clapp and Matt Greenblatt for a special program “Red Flags: The Enduring Legacy of The Madoff Ponzi Scheme - A Roundtable Discussion on Financial Fraud in 2023.”
