James W. Forsyth will speak on tax advantages at this program, presented by the National Business Institute. Forsyth is a shareholder in the Pittsburgh office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney. He works primarily with business and corporate tax matters and the taxation of pass-through entities, representing publicly and privately held enterprises in analyzing the federal, state and local income tax consequences of corporate transactions, including corporate reorganizations, divisions, debt restructurings, joint ventures and other business transactions.

Forsyth's session, titled "Fully Using Tax Advantages," will discuss taxation as a partnership or corporation, tax advantages over other entities, election out of partnership status, flexibility in allocation, how self-employment taxes are covered and "check the box" income tax regulations.

The program will take place at the Marriott City Center in Pittsburgh.
