The Southern District of New York’s crackdown on insider trading has a perfect conviction record, a phenomena Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Litigator Barry I. Slotnick called “amazing.”

“People have been so injured in their lives economically that they may not be able to dismiss white-collar defendants,” Slotnick said, adding that he believes there is a portion of society with a bias against coat-and-tie defendants.

“These cases are amazing in that everyone who goes to trial for a financial crime is being found guilty,” he added.
