Positioning The Class Action Defense For Early Success

On September 26 and 27, 2007, the American Conference Institute presented "Positioning the Class Action Defense for Early Success," a cross-industry event focused on providing attendees with specific, tactical suggestions for achieving early and advantageous disposition of class action litigation.

Steven E. Bizar, co-chair of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Litigation Section, served as a panelist for a program titled "Foregoing Settlement and Taking the Class Action to Trial: Navigating Largely Uncharted Waters." The program addressed trial advocacy skills and strategies that may be employed when taking a class action case to trial.

The event was held at the JW Marriot Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.
