Natalie focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, class action defense litigation and civil appellate litigation; she has counseled large corporate entities regarding a wide range of transactions and legal proceedings. Additionally, Natalie has significant experience representing clients in litigation involving business disputes, consumer fraud and protection, complicated contractual claims, website accessibility litigation, and defense of consumer class-action lawsuits brought pursuant to California’s Proposition 65, California’s Unfair Competition Law, and the Song-Beverly Act.

Natalie regularly appears in court on behalf of clients and has a deep knowledge of all stages of litigation and arbitration proceedings from pre-lawsuit factual and legal investigation, case development to trial and appeal. However, not all problems are best served through litigation, and Natalie works with her clients to focus on solution-oriented litigation strategies and internal processes that will bring structure to ambiguous and/or challenging situations and can mitigate the risk of future litigation.

- Pre-answer dismissals of consumer class actions under state and federal law.
- First-chair in successful arbitration alleging embezzlement and fiduciary duty breaches, responsible for all pre-trial preparation, direct and cross examinations and opening and closing arguments.
- Second-chair in state court jury trial, draft all pre-trial materials including successful motions in limine, direct examination and cross-examination outlines, pre-trial and mediation briefs, exhibit lists, witness lists, voir dire questions and jury instructions. (Advantageous settlement reached on first day of trial.)
- Advise on overhaul of internal marketing and advertising guidelines for global domestic equipment manufacturer focused on compliance with consumer law requirements in the United States.
- Counsel nationwide real estate developer on marketing initiatives, advertising campaigns and sweepstakes rules, draft promotional materials with focus on the intersection between targeted advertising and anti-discrimination laws, spearhead the creation of a legal tool kit focused on educating and training organization members on legal considerations related to marketing and advertising campaigns and the use of social media.
- Lead trial associate in class action case that ultimately settled for 12 million dollars. Managed cross-functional team of associates.
- Provided pro bono advice to Italian nonprofit organization focused on providing services to refugees and immigrants; collaborated with internal partners in successful effort to achieve European Union Erasmus+ membership. Created and implemented strategies to ensure compliance with European Union, regional and local regulations.
Natalie has been consistently selected for inclusion in the New York Metro Rising Stars® list since 2018. Most recently, Natalie was also recognized by Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch in 2024 and 2025 in the area of Litigation.
Outside the Office
Natalie began her career at Buchanan in the firm’s NYC office, but she currently enjoys perennially sunny skies and temperate ocean breezes in Buchanan’s San Diego office. She has lived and worked in Israel, England, South Korea and Italy and hopes to continue developing her intercultural communication skills through additional travel and further opportunities to work with global teams.
