How Krista Helps Clients

Krista has extensive experience handling a wide range of complex litigation matters, including business disputes, consumer fraud, zoning and land use approvals, and complex contractual issues. Additionally, Krista represents corporations and individuals in government investigations, antitrust matters, and white-collar litigation. Krista primarily practices in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey but has experience in federal courts across the nation. Prior to joining Buchanan, Krista served as a law clerk intern for the Honorable Daniel McCaffery of the Pennsylvania Superior Court, where she drafted opinions and legal memorandums and assisted in developing legal determinations based on review of the record. Additionally, during her time at Temple Law School, Krista was a member of the Moot Court Team and received recognition for Best Brief Writing with her teammates at the 72nd Annual Seigenthaler-Sutherland National First Amendment Moot Court Competition.

Prior to law school, Krista was a paralegal for the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section of the Department of Justice, Criminal Division in Washington, DC. She prepared written reports that aided in the development of legislative, regulatory, judicial, administrative, or other legal arguments, and assisted in dozens of internal investigations and federal criminal trials.
