How Khalid Helps Clients
Khalid works closely with his clients, carefully considering their individual circumstances and their immigration goals. In order to best represent and guide his clients, he makes it a priority to keep up with all of the frequent developments and changes that occur, often on a daily basis and with short notice or none at all. As such, Khalid is able to provide customized and current options to his clients, taking into account both US immigration laws and current government policies.
Khalid also helps individuals and families in family-based immigration matters such as permanent residence status.
While in law school at Florida International University, he was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Antonio Arzola, and he was a member of the Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. There, he assisted individuals with removal proceedings and applicants with applying for Asylum and Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
What Clients Can Expect
Khalid is a diligent, detail-oriented associate who focuses on achieving his client’s unique needs and objectives. He is committed to providing a thoughtful, responsive and comprehensive approach to his client’s immigration matters.
As a child of immigrants, he understands some of the hardships and difficulties people endure as they try to get through the immigration process. Khalid aims to provide practical legal advice, effective advocacy and compassion during difficult times.
I love being an immigration attorney because it is not only a job, but it is also an identity. It is about meeting people from around the world, each with their own unique life-stories and remarkable dreams. It is standing up for their right to live, work and remain in the United States and it is helping to turn those remarkable dreams into reality. And I feel immensely honored to be a member of such a profession.
