How Josh Helps Clients

Josh concentrates his practice on the representation of healthcare organizations, and other business entities, in civil litigation. Josh is experienced handling all aspects of pre-trial litigation in state and federal court, including complex motion practice, and appeals.  

Prior to joining Buchanan, Josh worked as an Associate for a boutique defense firm in Berwyn, PA, with a practice focused on medical professional liability and general liability defense. In that role, Josh was responsible for developing and implementing defense strategies, analyzing potential exposure, and counseling clients through each stage of litigation. Josh gained valuable trial experience, assisting to prepare for and litigate numerous complex and high exposure jury trials. He also utilized his legal writing and advocacy skills to handle briefing and oral argument for several dispositive motions and appeals, involving diverse legal issues.

Outside the Office

Josh lives in West Chester, PA with his wife Jess, their baby daughter, and their Golden Retriever. Outside of work, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, attending concerts, and American history.
