How Alexis Helps Clients
Alexis provides litigation and related consultation services to clients in the healthcare industry, including long-term care, post acute rehabilitation, assisted living, home health and hospice care corporations. She also represents individual physicians and other healthcare providers in alleged malpractice matters. In addition, she defends the interests of aviation clients in matters ranging from premises liability to catastrophic loss.
Alexis has extensive experience in complex professional liability matters as well as commercial cases in state and federal courts in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She also handles matters venued in arbitration and ADR forums.
Given the complexity of matters Alexis handles, she helps clients successfully navigate through every stage of the litigation process, including depositions, court appearances, settlement negotiations and trial/arbitration. She also conducts internal investigations and analyzes existing company policies and procedures. Alexis works directly with in-house counsel and risk managers to assess potential litigation exposure as well as to provide related education and training to employees.
Alexis serves as Co-Chair of the Buchanan N.O.W. (Network of Women) Community and Professional Development Committee. She is involved in a number of organizations championing diversity in the legal profession and was also selected by Buchanan to the team representing the firm at the 2021 Diversity Lab Client Forum.
