TAMPA, Fla. – March 20, 2017 – Buchanan proudly announces that Yova Borovska, associate in the firm’s immigration practice in the Tampa office, was named as Top Author for the second year in a row by JD Supra in the 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards. Borovska was selected from among thousands of authors JD Supra published during 2016, for the level of visibility and engagement she attained with readers on the subject of immigration. The awards recognize 24 firms and over 200 JD Supra authors.

Borovska helps her clients explore their immigration options and to find practical solutions to their immigration problems, while learning about their unique needs and preferences. She was born in Bulgaria and moved to the U.S. at the age of 18. As such, she has gone through the immigration process herself, which provides her with a unique and personal perspective on the struggles that her clients go through when they move to a foreign country. She is a frequent contributor to Buchanan’s Knowing Immigration Law blog.

JD Supra editors chose the 25 main industries and topics covered in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards for their timeliness as well as their proven, ongoing importance. In each category, they recognize 10 authors and one firm for consistently highest readership and engagement within that category for all of 2016. They also recognized a single, top author for each of nine topics that either emerged or dramatically grew in interest during 2016.
