White Collar Crime Shareholder Stuart Slotnick Quoted on Casey Anthony "Nanny" Defamation Case by Reuters, 39 Various Media

The defamation case brought against Casey Anthony by nanny Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez isn't likely to be successful, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney White Collar Crime Shareholder Stuart Slotnick told Reuters and various other media.

"If Casey Anthony was talking about someone else, and there's no proof otherwise, then the case will ultimately be dismissed," he said.

Despite naming the nanny outright in her accusations, Anthony maintains she was referring to a different Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez with fewer children and a different vehicle.

Anthony's not-guilty murder verdict is unlikely to have any bearing on the defamation case, Slotnick said.
