How Victoria Helps Clients

Victoria is a senior attorney in Buchanan’s Litigation section. She has civil litigation experience in diverse matters, including wrongful death, products liability, aviation, professional liability and civil rights law. This work has given her the ability to participate in various trial preparation activities, handle discovery disputes, and analyze corporate documents. In addition, Victoria is adept at preparing numerous legal documents, including critical motions, pleadings, and discovery.

Before becoming a litigator, Victoria worked as a surgical nurse in a level one trauma center. This experience gave her an intimate understanding of the medical profession that she now uses in her practice when tasked with deposing medical experts, crafting medical causation arguments, conducting research of medical literature, and examining and interpreting patient records. In addition, Victoria is accustomed to working in high-pressure situations and is able to maintain her professionalism and composure as she navigates her way through them.

Victoria was named a Super Lawyers, 2019 Southwest Rising Star and was part of the AADC Ladder Down, 2016 Class.

What Clients Can Expect

Armed with medical knowledge and legal know-how, Victoria is an effective and aggressive advocate for her clients. She knows how to position cases for early resolution and if that’s not possible, she is prepared to vigorously fight for her clients in court. She is a strong communicator inside and outside of the courtroom, and she prides herself on regularly keeping clients abreast of new developments in their cases and providing solid advice to garner the best outcomes on their behalf.

I left an incredibly fulfilling career in nursing for litigation because I wanted to learn to care for people in a different way.

Outside the Office

Victoria is originally from Massachusetts and relocated to sunny Arizona in 2012.  She enjoys traveling, cooking, painting, photography, floral design, and spin.
