Mauricio Gomm Santos, consultant to the law firm of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, will moderate a panel at the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR)'s International Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program Series, to be held August 11, 2008, in São Paulo, Brazil.

Gomm Santos, who is also on the Conference Event Committee, will lead a panel focusing on the use of international ADR in Latin America, including recent developments, cases, laws and trends. He will also participate in a roundtable on the current state of affairs in international arbitration in the Americas.

The International Centre for Dispute Resolution is the international division of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and was established in 1996 to provide the same high-quality ADR services available in the U.S. to individuals and organizations around the globe. Like the AAA, the ICDR administers cases impartially and efficiently while successfully tackling the additional challenges of resolving international conflicts.

The ICDR has established cooperative agreements with 62 arbitral institutions in 43 countries worldwide. These agreements enable arbitration cases to be filed and heard virtually anywhere in the world.
