How Tara Helps Clients
Tara is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Finance and Technology group, and her practice focuses upon an array of corporate matters across several industries. During her time as a Summer Associate, Tara conducted research and drafted memoranda on a variety of legal issues, including application of state anti-discrimination employment laws, registration of a minority-owned business, interpretation of intellectual property provisions in employment contracts, and establishment of 503(c)(3) tax status for a nonprofit organization.
Tara graduated from Rutgers Law School with a Corporate & Business Law certificate. She was a staff editor on Rutgers Law Review and research assistant to Professor Jacob Russell. During her 1L summer, Tara was a legal intern for Bristol-Myers Squibb and produced legal memoranda for the Patient Data and Privacy department, Corporate Securities department, and Litigation and Government Investigations department.

Outside the Office
When she’s not in the office, Tara enjoys solo traveling, meditation retreats at Buddhist monasteries, frequent visits to her local library, and playing recreational dodgeball. She also enjoys mentoring students in networking and job placement.
