NEWARK, NJ – August 12, 2015 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is pleased to announce that Shareholder Linda Pissott Reig has been named co-chair of Buchanan’s FDA Practice Group. Reig joins Shareholder Edward John Allera in leading the practice group’s strategic initiatives.

Reig focuses her practice on the life sciences industry. She has experience with the laws and industry standards that apply to the marketing and sale of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biologics, dietary supplements and medical foods.

She counsels companies on tactics for lawfully communicating about their FDA-regulated products both before and after FDA approval. She delivers training programs, helps clients to implement comprehensive compliance programs, guides them on federal & state laws mandating Sunshine Act disclosures and provides counsel on minimizing Anti-Kickback risks in interactions with healthcare providers.

Reig co-chairs the BioNJ Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Advisory Committee, which she was instrumental in forming in 2008. She has garnered an AV® Preeminent certification from Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings, the highest available mark for professional excellence.

She earned her law degree cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in English from Rutgers Newark College of Arts & Sciences.
