The blog post also provides suggested steps that HR professionals can take to make sure their companies are compliant with labor laws.

Titled, “Wages, Salaries & Overtime – Oh My! 4 Myths About Employee Pay,” Hackett discusses the steps to determine if a salaried employee is entitled to overtime, when a worker’s day officially starts, whether take-home work is entitled to overtime pay and the difference between “comp time” and “flex time.”
