How Saeed Helps Clients
Saeed counsels clients in a wide range of complex civil litigation matters. He defends nursing homes, healthcare facilities and medical professionals in medical malpractice, professional liability and general liability claims. As a former judicial law clerk, Saeed has extensive experience in applying intricate legal principles during motion practice, and utilizes this ability to procure favorable outcomes for his clients.
Prior to joining Buchanan, Saeed served as an associate attorney at a prominent Philadelphia-area law firm where he defended healthcare clients in both professional and general liability claims. Previously, Saeed served as a judicial law clerk for The Hon. Susan L. Claypoole in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. He conducted legal research and analysis pertaining to various issues in New Jersey Civil Law, prepared bench memoranda and orders, served as a liaison between opposing counsel and mediated claims brought before the court’s Special-Civil Part.
In law school, Saeed received the Dean’s Academic Scholars Award, served as the Associate Managing Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, and was one of three participants chosen to compete in the John J. Gibbons’ National Moot Court Competition. Saeed also provided pro bono services via inclusion in the Domestic Violence Pro Bono Project, the Street Law Pro Bono Project and the Income Tax Association Pro Bono Project.

Outside the Office
Saeed was raised in South Jersey and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. When he is not working, Saeed enjoys football, basketball, mixed martial arts, boxing, and spending time with his family and friends. He also loves to travel and experience diverse cultures abroad.
- Successfully drafted a winning Motion for Declaratory Judgment demonstrating the viability of his client’s contract with co-defendant resulting in a favorable settlement outcome for his client.
- Successfully drafted various Motions to Dismiss Based Upon Lack of a Sufficient Affidavit of Merit obtaining dismissals of plaintiffs’ corporate negligence claims against his clients.
- Successfully drafted various Motions for Summary Judgment based upon plaintiffs’ experts’ reports constituting inadmissible net opinions which warranted dismissal of the allegations against his client as a matter of law.
