Tampa, FL – Rhea Law, CEO and Board of Directors Chair for Fowler White Boggs, has accepted a chair position with the American Heart Association Tampa Bay Metro Board of Directors.  She will serve as chair during the association’s 2013-2014 fiscal year.

Rhea has been active with the association since 2001, serving as Heart Walk Logistics Chair, Heart Walk Chair in 2004, and has served on the Tampa Bay Advisory Council, Leadership Circle and Circle of Red.

During the upcoming year, Ms. Law’s leadership will help the organization impact heart disease and stroke, the No.1 and No. 4 leading killers, respectively, of American men and women.  Rhea brings a combination of skills, experience, and passion that inspires those who serve.  In partnership with the Metro Board President and Executive Director, Ms. Law will help to provide overall direction for the local market with a particular emphasis on revenue development.

The board will help the association achieve its 2020 impact goal to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent while reducing deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent.
