Princeton, NJ, January 28, 2010 — Mary Sue Henifin, co-managing shareholder of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Princeton office, participated in the 2010 Corporate Counsel Institute, held Wednesday, January 27 at the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education in New Brunswick. More than 80 corporate counsel attended the standing room only all-day program, presented in cooperation with the NJSBA Business Law Section and the New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association. Henifin joined other experts from five fields in corporate law — insurance, fraud, health care, environmental law and employment law — to provide attendees with the latest information and useful advice. Henifin presented as part of the fraud portion of the program, "Fighting Fraud? — Control Yourself." Her presentation, "Proactively Preventing Vendor Fraud," covered types of fraud, red flags to watch out for, and prevention, including employee and vendor hotlines.
