Pittsburgh Litigation Attorney Susan Yohe to be Honored with Helping Hand Award by the Allegheny County Bar Association's Women in the Law Division

Pittsburgh, PA, April 24, 2009 — On May 21, 2009, Susan A. Yohe — a shareholder in the Litigation Section of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Pittsburgh office — will be honored with the Carol Los Mannsmann Helping Hand Award by the Allegheny County Bar Association's (ACBA) Women in the Law Division (WLD).

The award was created to celebrate the life of the Honorable Carol Los Mannsmann who worked diligently to advance female lawyers in the profession. It is given to a member of the bar who works to provide fellow lawyers with ongoing support, friendship and constructive example.

According to the WLD, Yohe has been an invaluable mentor to countless attorneys throughout the course of her successful practice.

Yohe will be presented with the award at the organization's May 21 meeting, which will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh.

Susan Yohe is a trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. She has handled a range of litigation matters, including intellectual property, antitrust, First Amendment, professional malpractice and other commercial cases. She is vice chair of the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice and chair of its Women's Initiative.
