How Paige Helps Clients
Paige is a part-time patent agent in Buchanan's Intellectual Property section. Outside Buchanan, she is a fourth-year Ph.D. candidate in biological sciences at Carnegie Mellon University investigating the use of membrane-engineered red blood cells to carry disease-fighting therapeutics. As a scientist with more than five years of research experience in academic and hospital settings, Paige’s scientific training enables her to be a strong advocate for her clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Her interdisciplinary thesis work in chemistry, biology, and material science gives her broad knowledge in various sectors of science and technology. She also possesses strong technical writing skills as a co-author of five scientific publications.
What Clients Can Expect
Paige is committed to her clients and devoted to securing patent protection for her clients’ inventions. Clients that work with Paige can expect her to invest the same level of diligence and attention to detail that she puts into her own research.
Outside the Office
In her free time, Paige enjoys being outdoors. She is an avid biker and hopes, one day, to ride the Great Allegheny Passage from Pittsburgh to D.C.
