How Neema Helps Clients
Neema Shojai is a litigator with experience in defending a broad range of complex civil cases in state and federal courts throughout the country. His practice areas include healthcare litigation, with a concentration on defending urgent care facilities, physicians, long-term care providers, and assisted living facilities in professional liability suits and administrative proceedings.
Prior to joining Buchanan, Neema worked for a prominent boutique firm in San Diego, where he represented clients in the areas of complex civil litigation, construction defect, premise liability, personal injury and insurance defense.
While in law school, Neema dedicated his free time to human rights and criminal justice reform, which included partnerships and volunteer work with the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, California Innocence Project and American Civil Liberties Union.
