How Matthew Helps Clients
Matthew concentrates his practice on issues related to the approval, regulation, promotion, sale and reimbursement of drugs, medical devices, biologics, dietary supplements, foods and cannabis-related products.
Matthew previously served as a legal associate with the Health Insurance Counseling Project, where he represented clients at Medicaid fair hearings and resolved billing disputes between Medicare and Medicaid patients, their providers, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
During law school, Matthew was a student attorney in George Washington University Legal Clinic’s Small Business Clinic, where he assisted and advised local emerging businesses and nonprofit organizations in areas such as structure and governance, intellectual property and tax matters. He was an intern in CMS’s Marketplace Appeals Group as a law student, and was awarded the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in Health Law at graduation.

Outside the Office
Matthew enjoys spending his days at national parks and his nights at ballparks.
