Matthew is an Associate in the firm's Financial Institutions practice focusing on Bankruptcy & Creditors Rights. He was a member of Buchanan's 2019 Summer Associate Program, where he worked with shareholders and associates on a wide range of matters. While in law school, Matthew was a Certified Legal Intern at Pitt Law’s Elder Law Clinic during which he represented low-income clients in guardianship and end-of-life planning matters. He also spent time as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing and for Legislation and Regulation.
What Clients Can Expect
Matthew takes a client-first approach to his work by ensuring he understands the client’s business and tailoring his legal analysis to their goals. Clients can expect prompt communication and diligent efforts to get them the answers and guidance they need on a timely basis.
Outside the Office
Matthew enjoys spending time with friends, as well as watching movies and reading. He is a big fan of Pittsburgh sports, despite growing up in Florida. He visits his family in the Sunshine State whenever he can.
