How Kristen Helps Clients
Kristen Kakascik is an Associate in Buchanan’s Labor & Employment section. After receiving her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh, she served for over six years in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. During her time on active-duty, Kristen served as a military justice prosecutor, Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Georgia, and in-house counsel for the Region of Japan’s Naval hospitals.

Outside the Office
Kristen hails from Weirton, West Virginia. When she’s not in the office, she can usually be found outside with a good book, making jam, or learning a new crafty hobby. Kristen is passionate about serving her country and continues to do so in the Navy Reserves.
