Kelsey focuses her practice on representing public and private employers in litigation and arbitration involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, breach of contract, unfair competition, and wage and hour claims.

She also counsels employers on a broad spectrum of day-to-day matters, including discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, and wage and hour issues. Kelsey has experience in handling workplace investigations and also assists employers in drafting policies, handbooks and employment-related agreements to ensure compliance with state and federal laws while also serving employers’ individual business needs.

Prior to joining Buchanan, Kelsey served as an associate in the labor and employment group at a Philadelphia firm. She also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable John A. Parkins, Jr. of the Superior Court of New Castle County, Delaware. In addition, she also served as a law clerk working primarily on labor and employment matters at E*TRADE Financial Corporation, the National Labor Relations Board, the Federal Labor Relations Authority and at a large national law firm.
