How Kassandra Helps Clients
Kassandra is an associate in Buchanan’s Labor & Employment section. Prior to joining Buchanan, she worked as a law clerk at a global immigration firm, where she had the opportunity to draft, compile, and submit numerous USCIS Immigration petitions, applications, and support letters for higher education institutions. In addition, she researched immigration-related issues and drafted legal memoranda. Kassandra also interned at the Executive Office for Immigration Review (“EOIR”) Miami Immigration Court, where she drafted judicial decisions and orders for Immigration Judges, cultivating her legal research and writing skills.
During law school, Kassandra was a staff member of the FIU Law Review and in her third year served as the Executive Marketing Editor of the journal. Kassandra also served as a research assistant to Professor David D. Walter, where she researched substantive and procedural legal issues to facilitate a required writing course and assisted the legal writing professors by locating the academic resources applicable to each writing assignment.
