How John Helps Clients
John assists corporations and businesses, including those in the healthcare industry, in labor and employment related matters. Specifically, John handles cases involving FSLA, EEOC, PHRA, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and Title VII. John is licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
John also assists in day-to-day business-related matters for his clients, including, but not limited to: policies for retaining and terminating employees, workplace safety procedures and other compliance issues as they arise. He works with clients' internal management to create effective solutions for their needs.
John began his career in criminal defense and, in trial, secured numerous not guilty verdicts in serious felony matters. He also has represented clients on appeal in Pennsylvania Superior Court. John, as private counsel for another local law firm, represented a large Pennsylvania teachers union in several employment and licensing related matters for its members. He successfully challenged various school districts' abilities to take adverse actions against their union members as well as represent them in licensing and other regulatory related issues. John uses his experience to offer practical commonsense advice that will help to avoid unnecessary litigation while remaining willing and able to successfully litigate matters if necessary.

John is able to translate complicated legal issues into effective, practical and clear understandable advice for his clients. John will take the time to go over every detail and angle of a client issues to make sure that the most effective strategy is achieved.
John’s previous experience representing employees in labor related matters enables him to see matters from both sides and anticipate litigation strategy. This experience also helps develop workplace policy that reduces the risk of future litigation.

Outside the Office
When not in the office, John enjoys spending time with his wife Cassie and daughter Eloise. John also likes to travel and play sports. John is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling to courses around the world.
