Gina Ameci is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Section and a former two-term member of the firm's Board of Directors. She provides legal and practical counsel to assist executives, managers and HR professionals in diverse industries in making day-to-day human resource decisions. With more than 35 years of experience in government, corporate and private practice, Gina brings a unique, multiple-perspective to labor and employment issues. Her experience includes serving as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor and as legal counsel/manager of employee relations for Harrah's Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. Gina has an in-depth knowledge of the gaming industry, having worked for casinos in both Atlantic City and Las Vegas, where Gina resided for more than six years. Gina also has extensive experience working with clients in the health care industry as well as those providing health-care related services. Gina also routinely has worked with various manufacturers, involving consumer goods and otherwise, and has focused knowledge of the oil and gas industry.

Helping people solve their problems has taught me more about the world and people than I would have thought possible.

Because Gina has been a litigator, as well as an in-house counselor, she fully understands the inside/outside counsel relationship and the needs of her clients as she prepares them for litigation while working to avoid it if possible. Her comprehensive representation always considers clients’ interests first, whether in traditional litigation forums or through alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation, with a focus on minimizing legal costs while achieving the desired outcome.
