How Filip Helps Clients

Filip Rams is a member of the firm’s Tax Section. Filip was a Summer Associate in the Pittsburgh office in 2016, where he conducted legal research and drafted numerous memoranda addressing issues in the field of energy law. Filip also participated in the firm’s pro bono program by assisting in the Protection from Abuse hearings and by volunteering at the Homeless Experience Legal Protection Clinic.

While earning his law degree, Filip was an Executive Articles Editor of the Duquesne Law Review and a member of the Duquesne Appellate Moot Court Board. Filip competed in National Energy & Sustainability Moot Court Competition at West Virginia University in 2016. He also received the “Outstanding Oral Argument” recognition from Duquesne Law in 2015. Filip has been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers – Rising Star list since 2022.

Outside the Office

Filip was born and raised in Poland, where he spent most of his childhood. Prior to attending law school, Filip traveled the world and competed in professional tennis tournaments for two years. Throughout law school, Filip coached tennis at a local country club in the Fox Chapel area. Currently, Filip enjoys staying active, cooking, traveling and exploring new places in his free time.
