How Evan Helps Clients

Prior to joining Buchanan, Evan held several associate positions during which he was responsible for defending individuals, executives, businesses, and corporations. Evan’s prior experiences required the handling of all aspects of pre-litigation and active litigation matters, including presenting legal arguments and questioning witnesses and experts in jury trials, court hearings, and depositions. Evan’s prior experience also included working with his clients to obtain favorable settlements through informal settlement negotiations and formal mediations. Additionally, Evan was responsible for all aspects of pre-litigation and litigation evaluations, including conducting client meetings, on-site inspections, and internal investigations. Evan’s prior practice also includes analyzing and advising on complex and unique insurance coverage issues.

In law school, Evan worked with the in-house counsel of a publicly held corporation. Evan’s responsibilities included performing continuous due diligence to ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal requirements. Additionally, Evan assisted with a corporate offering of preferred stock and the purchase of additional corporate assets. 

Evan was honored by The Best Lawyers in America© in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2023 and 2024 editions in the area of Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants and Professional Malpractice Law.

Outside the Office

Evan is an avid sports fan and when not working, he is most likely watching any sporting event that he can find. Evan also enjoys spending time with his friends and family and getting outside into nature, enjoying activities like skiing, hiking, or camping.
