How Edward Helps Clients
Edward focuses his law practice on civil litigation matters. He has experience in drafting dispositive motions to dismiss and for summary judgment, engaging in all phases of discovery, attending hearings and preparing for civil trials.
Prior to joining the firm, he was involved in representation of municipalities in federal civil rights matters that often included constitutional issues of excessive force and deliberate indifference to medical needs. He also served as sole counsel representing a Fortune 500 company (and its subsidiaries) as a creditor in bankruptcy proceedings.
Edward has served as a judicial intern for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Florida under the Honorable Laurel M. Isicoff. While in law school, he served as a Civil Procedure Dean’s Fellow for Professor Sergio Campos at the University of Miami School of Law. Edward also participated in the James Weldon Johnson/Robert H. Waters Summer Institute.

Outside the Office
Edward is a native of the Washington, DC area. He is a proud Nigerian-American and is the third of four children.
