On Thursday, September 22, Charles F. Wieland, III, shareholder in Buchanan's Intellectual Property section, presented on a panel and participated in a roundtable discussion at the 2016 IP Defense Summit in Houston, TX. Chad's roundtable discussion focused on significant comparative aspects of post-grant proceedings, specifically comparing pros and cons of different legal standards and examining the relationship between post-grant proceedings and parallel district court litigation. He also presented on "Post Issuance Proceedings for 2017 and Beyond: Plaintiff and Defensive Perspectives."
