Calvin R. Harvey works primarily in the area of financial transactions, including syndicated loan transactions, complex project and real estate finance and development, affordable housing and tax-exempt financing.
Cal is the former chair of the firm's Financial Institutions/Real Estate/Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Section and served as managing partner of the firm's Pittsburgh office for 10 years. His clients are major, super-regional and regional banking institutions, real estate development companies, universities, nonprofit organizations and many western Pennsylvania entrepreneurs and investors.
Cal is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. For the past 20 years, he has been listed in the banking and real estate sections of The Best Lawyers in America®, and was named the 2013 Pittsburgh Real Estate Law Lawyer of the Year and the 2012 Pittsburgh Banking and Finance Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers. In 2013, Cal was also named to the BTI Client Service All-Star list, one of only 18 attorneys nominated in the Financial Services category nationwide. He has also been named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® list and recognized in the Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business for his experience in banking and finance.
