Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney proudly supports the upcoming Pennsylvania Governor's Conference for Women, hosted by Governor Edward G. Rendell and the Pennsylvania Commission for Women. The Conference first opened its doors in 2004, and since then it has grown to attract more than 5,000 attendees and truly impact lives. The 2010 Conference, with the theme "Your Time Is Now," will be held October 14, 2010, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.

Now in its seventh year, the Pennsylvania Governor's Conference for Women is a non-profit, non-partisan, one-day event that features dozens of renowned speakers sharing inspirational stories and leading seminars on the issues that matter most to women, including health, personal finance, executive leadership, business and entrepreneurship, work/life balance, media, and more. The Conference offers incredible opportunities for business networking, professional development, and personal growth. The annual Conference alternates between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.

The 2010 Conference will be the fifth year of the Pennsylvania Governor's Conference for Women Scholarship Program, which partners with colleges and universities to award scholarships to qualifying women enrolled or accepted to institutions of higher education in Pennsylvania. Thanks to the generosity of participating schools, this unique statewide program has provided more than $1.7M in scholarships to deserving Pennsylvania women of all ages.
