Pittsburgh Office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Pittsburgh, PA
On October 30, 2008, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney will host Pittsburgh Tech Council's (PTC) "B2G: Understanding Pennsylvania's $650 Million Energy Independence Strategy." The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Buchanan's Pittsburgh office at One Oxford Centre.

Join Deputy Secretary Rebecca Bagley, from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, as she outlines the Commonwealth's $650 million Energy Independence Strategy. This landmark legislation, which was approved as part of this year's budget process, provides $650 million to spur the development of alternative energy resources and create green-collar jobs in Pennsylvania. An additional $15 million is currently available to bring new alternative fuels to the marketplace. Deputy Secretary Bagley will provide a general overview of the plan's components and provide an update on the status of the administration's efforts to implement this landmark legislation.

The event is $45 for PTC members and $90 for nonmembers. Register online by Tuesday, October 28, at www.pghtech.org.
