FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – November 5, 2021 –Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney will serve as lead counsel for Broward County and the City of Fort Lauderdale as the two public entities develop the new Joint Government Center Campus project. The firm’s representation of the County and the City will be in coordination with the Office of the County Attorney and the Office of the City Attorney.
The new campus will replace the existing County Government Center East and City Hall and produce a new joint government center, a new bus transit terminal for Broward County's Transportation Department, administration offices and associated multi-story parking garage. It will also house each entity's Commission Chambers and administrative service agencies.
Led by shareholder Jesse Diner, Buchanan’s Public Private Partnership team will consist of multiple attorneys, including Jason Wrona and Adele Stone, shareholders in Real Estate, as well as project leads Ken Luttinger, shareholder in Public Finance, Thomas Madigan, shareholder in Construction, and Mallory Harrell, senior advisor in Government Relations.
