Alexandria, VA – August 26, 2013 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney announced today that Holly M. Ford, counsel in the firm’s IP Section, has been nominated as the Treasurer of the Patent Trademark and Copyright Section of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia.

Ford handles trademark disputes at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She has developed an extensive experience both in clearing pharmaceutical trademarks in conjunction with FDA requirements, as well as handling counterfeit matters. In addition, Ford routinely handles domain name disputes, and related internet and social media IP matters. She also represents clients in licensing, acquisition and sales of trademarks and related IP, due diligence, intellectual property audits, confidentiality and trade dress matters, and she has significant experience in conflict resolution and negotiated settlements.
