Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Adds Associate John B. Acierno to its Philadelphia Real Estate Section

Philadelphia, PA – August 20, 2013 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney announced today that John B. Acierno joined the firm’s Real Estate Section as an associate.

Acierno previously worked as financial services and bankruptcy counsel for a California-based firm where he gained experience with a wide variety of litigation and transaction matters. He represents clients in the financial services, insurance and real estate industries. His experience includes variety of bankruptcy issues, including motions for relief from automatic stay, objections to plan confirmation, cash collateral and post-petition financing issues, valuation hearings, non-discharge ability actions and preference litigation.

He received his JD from Duquesne University School of Law and his LL.M in Business and Corporate Law from the University of San Diego School of Law. Acierno attended Wheeling Jesuit University where he earned a bachelor of science in Sports Management.
