Newark, N.J. – August 15, 2013 – Genevieve M. Spires, counsel in Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s Food and Drug Administration & Pharmaceuticals section, has been appointed the Director of Communications and Technology for the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division for the 2013-2014 bar year. Spires served as the Products Coordinator in this division for the 2012-13 bar year.
In addition to her active participation in the American Bar Association, Spires is also the Chair of the Publications Subcommittee of the Defense Research Institute’s Women in the Law Committee.
Spires counsels life sciences companies on the laws and industry standards applicable to the sale and marketing of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Her experience includes reviewing promotional materials and drafting sponsorship, consulting and other agreements.
She has been selected to the 2013 New Jersey Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list, which represents only the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in New Jersey.
