Bridget J. Daley has litigated a variety of complex civil litigation matters in federal and state court, including commercial and contractual disputes, oil and gas matters, insurance coverage litigation, class action defense, trade secrets matters and consumer product matters.

Bridget actively pursues pro bono opportunities, including the representation of clients in protection from abuse cases and in name change matters through the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund Name Change Project. She is also active in the Pittsburgh community where she is on the board of directors IdeasPGH, the speaker curator for TEDxPittsburgh and a United Way Bridges Society Committee Member.

Before receiving her law degree, Bridget was a summer associate in Buchanan's Pittsburgh office. She is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, where she was an associate note and comment editor of the Duquesne Law Review, editor-in-chief of Juris magazine and co-president of the Women’s Law Association.

During Law School, Bridget worked as a legal research and writing teaching assistant for Dean Ella Kwisnek, served as a judicial intern for Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge Kate Ford Elliott and assisted Pennsylvania non-profits apply for, receive and maintain 501(c)(3) tax-exemption status as a certified legal intern in the Community Enterprise Law Clinic. At Duquesne Law, she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Legal Research and Writing, the Raymond F. Sekula Award and the Duquesne Law Alumni Endowed Scholarship. She was also the recipient of the Honorable Carol Los Mansmann Memorial Scholarship from the Allegheny County Bar Foundation.

Prior to joining the firm, Bridget worked as an editor at a local book publisher, contributed articles to various news publications and spent a year working aboard as an assistant resident director at the Duquesne University Italian Campus in Rome, Italy.

Bridget was named on Pittsburgh Magazine’s 2019 40 Under 40 List. Every year the publication, along with PUMP, recognizes the creativity, vision and passion of outstanding Pittsburgh individuals under the age of 40.
