His commercial law and transactional practice includes single lender and syndicated credits, acquisition financing, asset-based lending, leveraged lending, cross-border lending, recapitalizations, working capital loans, subordinated debt, trade finance, transactions involving real estate and first lien/second lien structures and restructurings and workouts of all such debt financings.
In his capacity as an advisor to financial institutions and other lenders, Brad has worked with borrower companies in various industries, including manufacturing, food and other retail products, casinos and gaming, and agricultural businesses. In addition to commercial finance, Brad has also represented institutional investors in connection with the private placement of debt and equity securities as well as indenture trustees.
What Clients Can Expect
Drawing on his 10 years as in-house counsel for Wells Fargo Bank, Brad is able to advise on an array of credit transactions and provide insight from the insider’s perspective. He is a business-savvy attorney and levelheaded under pressure. Brad will help clients identify and solve business and legal issues, including solutions that may reduce the client’s or its customers’ transaction costs while ensuring that the client is protected from unacceptable legal risk.
In order to successfully resolve business and legal issues in any transaction, part of my role is to effectively communicate to all members of my clients’ business teams from the most junior to the leader.
Outside the Office
Brad is an avid chef and traveler, but his favorite way to unwind is to spend time with his three four-legged best friends – a Dalmatian named Ruby, and Chocolate Lab named Cooper and an Australian Labradoodle named Norman.
