Associate Erin Lucas Hamilton Receives Outstanding Young Lawyer Award

Pittsburgh – March 4, 2014 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to announce that associate Erin Lucas Hamilton was presented the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award at the ACBA Young Lawyers Division Annual Meeting.

The Outstanding Young Lawyer Award is presented to a young lawyer who best exemplifies outstanding leadership and distinguished service to the legal profession and the community at large. The recipient demonstrates a notable continuing commitment to the community by participation in pro bono programs, fostering educational programs that increase the public’s awareness and knowledge of the law and by actions which have generally improved the relationship between the public and the bar.

Hamilton, who focuses her law practice on general commercial litigation, has served as the 2012 Chair of the 2,000 member Young Lawyers Division of the ACBA and currently coordinates the Pittsburgh Office’s participation in the Neighborhood Legal Services Protection From Abuse Program.
